Former Federal Maritime Commissioner Paul Anderson joined Port Tampa Bay as Chief Executive Officer in December 2012 after holding a series of high-profile leadership positions in the public and private sectors over the last three decades. Prior to joining the Port Tampa Bay, Mr. Anderson was the Chief Executive Officer at the Jacksonville Port Authority.
Mr. Anderson was recently elected Chairman of the Florida Ports Financing Commission by Florida’s port directors. He’s also been appointed by the Chairman of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) to lead a newly created cooperative effort of the AAPA and the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
